Mashed Potatoes and Hamburger Steaks

3#s russet potatoes

1 stick butter

1 cup milk

Boil potatoes until soft,mash with potato masher,add butter and milk stir together season to taste with salt and pepper


Family pack ground beef

Salt,pepper,Tony’s,granulated garlic,onion powder

2 yellow onions sliced

2 cups beef broth

2tbs cornstarch


Mix ground beef and seasonings.form patties,brown 3 min on each side in hot cast iron skillet,set on plate.

Throw onions in same skillet let them sweat a bit,add broth season to taste,add back in burgers let them cook for 15 min.remove burgers…make a slurry with cornstarch and water equal parts.add to pan wisk until thickened add burgers back and serve.
